This book is based on factual history. The wretchedness is so great and so unmingled, that the mind shrinks from the conception, and seems almost ready to take refuge in a vague and quiet incredulity. I paid more for this workbook ($29) because of the rave reviews. Will definitely teach you some gíria that you won't learn in Portuguese class, but it has some issues (only reason it didn't get 4 stars).
